AudTech Story

Established on 29 July 2022, Advanced United Technologies Pty Ltd is an emerging startup led by its director, Daniel, and supported by a dedicated team of employees, all alumni of UNSW and ANU. The company is actively planning to expand its workforce through new recruitment in the near future.


The company’s initial primary source of capital is Illume Research, a distinguished UK-headquartered organisation with six international branches. Illume Research was recognised in the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 – Consumer Technology list and reports an annual turnover of approximately GBP 60 million - https://www.forbes.com/profile/illume-research/. Advanced United Technologies represents Illume Research’s strategic expansion into Australia as its seventh branch.


Looking toward 2030, the company is committed to diversifying its investment portfolio by pursuing opportunities in AI for Sustainability, aligning with its mission to drive innovation in sectors where technology can deliver meaningful improvements in efficiency and sustainability.


To date, Advanced United Technologies has been self-financed through sales in Australia and is committed to making strategic R&D investments in collaboration with leading university partners.
